The VOSS Group from Wipperfürth in the Cologne area stands for quality and innovation in the area of line and connection technology for the international vehicle and engineering industry.

VOSS Automotive GmbH develops and supplies lines, manifolds, quick connect systems and fittings for pneumatic, hydraulic, exhaust and fuel systems for the automotive industry. Individual connection systems are developed for each type of vehicle and engine. These then have to be delivered just-in-time to the particular production factories around the world.

Here the logistics come into play. VOSS‘s newly built logistics centre houses the complete range of products. It consists of an automatic warehouse for small parts and a manual pallet store. The automatic warehouse for small parts provides space for more than 13,000 trays, these being stored double deep. The three stacker cranes transfer the trays to the central distribution loop. This loop connects the warehouse with the input lines and the picking / packing places. Picking is carried out in accordance with the goods-to-man principle.
