All apprenticeship places occupied: We can say the same about Unitechnik Automatisierungs GmbH in 2020. With a trainee quota of almost 20 percent, we are far above the national average. This has also impressed Brandenburg's Secretary of State for Employment Hendrik Fischer. He was recently in charge of the Brandenburg tour under the motto "Brandenburg wants you! Here education has a future".
In order to retain skilled workers in the long term, we rely on the bond with our region - for this, it is best to take the next generation with us from the very beginning. To this end, we offer one-week internships for school students during the holidays. This gives the pupils the opportunity to get to know the company and the profession in practice.
The Secretary of State agrees with us that career orientation is immensely important, especially in times like these, which we are currently experiencing. We would like to thank all our colleagues who are driving forward the excellent apprenticeship concept.
