We have expanded the functions of our warehouse management system UniWare with a module for internal and external production supply: automated order consolidation of single orders from production is now one of the functions. This offers a significant increase of process efficiency and precision.
The system considers the process times of production and intralogistics while planning the processes, and it also considers external delivery dates or plant shuttle departure times. With the new module, our customers can profit from just-in-time and just-in-sequence deliveries of internal and external production locations. This is why UniWare is a comprehensive production supply control solution. The WMS receives the necessary data from the higher-level ERP system. Order changes are considered in real time, and picking orders are triggered fully automatically.
