New management trio in the concrete sector: Since July 1, three experienced heads have been representing the precast division of Unitechnik Systems GmbH. Peter Reimer, Markus Siepe and Carsten Felbick are taking over from Klaus Schumacher - Unitechnik and the entire concrete industry are thus bidding farewell to a veteran of the precast concrete industry as he retires.
Peter Reimer will take over as head of sales for the precast concrete parts division with immediate effect. The trained electrical engineer has been with Unitechnik for around 16 years and initially worked in technology and as a PLC trainer. He moved to sales in 2022. He is supported by Markus Siepe and Carsten Felbick, who have each been with Unitechnik for 25 years. Carsten Felbick is head of the IT team, which is responsible for the implementation and further development of the UniCAM production host computer. Markus Siepe and his team are responsible for control technology and project management. By integrating technology more closely into sales, Unitechnik is responding to the increasing demand for plant modernization.
After 39 years: A pioneer leaves the stage
Unitechnik is one of the longstanding innovators in the precast concrete production market. Klaus Schumacher is partly responsible for this. With him, a veteran of the precast concrete industry is leaving the company. Klaus Schumacher took over the newly founded "Automation for precast concrete plants" team in 1989, which he greatly expanded in the following years until he took over sales for the precast concrete parts division as Key Account Manager in 2016. Most recently, he looked after around 120 customers together with his recently retired colleague Ralf Gomann.
With Unitechnik, Klaus Schumacher played a key role in shaping the development of the entire precast concrete industry. For example, the first shuttering robot and the industry's first automatic concrete spreader were realized under his leadership. "The work that Klaus Schumacher has done over the past decades is partly responsible for the high level of automation in today's precast concrete industry," says Peter Reimer, summarizing the work of his predecessor.
Driving technological development forward
With the new three-man team, a strong team is looking after the precast concrete production market. "The challenging topics, such as digitalization, increasing productivity and safety technology, require a high level of expertise in sales," explains department head Christian Stangier. In addition to customer support, the team consisting of Peter Reimer, Markus Siepe and Carsten Felbick will continue to focus on the further technological development of Unitechnik systems such as the UniCAM master computer - for example with the new all-round carefree package UniCAM.infinity.
