Exciting projects, inspiring solutions and enriching discussions: This is the best way to describe the meetings of the BVL Regional Group Franken. The logistics experts tour interesting intra-logistics properties in their catchment area on a regular basis. At the end of February, they visited the new logistics center of DEHN + SÖHNE. Last year we created a logistics paradise here on 21,000 m².
The focus of the event was a tour of the new logistics system. The heart of the system is an automated high rack warehouse for pallets and a shuttle warehouse for containers. They are connected to receiving, packaging and shipping through an efficient material flow concept. The day was rounded out with presentations by the operating company DEHN, the planning office io-consultants and our director. We also took advantage of the opportunity to give the visitors advice on what they should pay particular attention to when implementing their logistics project.
Our conclusion: An interesting day with many great impressions. We are happy that we were able to contribute.
