Consumer goods for the Middle East
The company Integrated National Logistics DWC-LLC (INL) operates as logistic service provider at Dubai Logistic City. As 3PL-provider INL undertakes the task of storage, consignment and distribution for other companies. To be able to serve a maximum range of applications, the logistic centre covers a temperature range from -28°C to +25°C.
The project comprises two inversely composed automatic high bay ware-houses with seven aisles each. Each of the two warehouse blocks has room for more than 20.000 europallets. One of the warehouse blocks is constructed as freezer storage for temperatures down to -28°C. Each of the 7 cooling chambers can be regulated individually. The other warehouse block is divided into 3 chambers. In each of these chambers the temperature can be adjusted between +5°C and +25°C.
Commissioning takes place according to the principle material-to-person. Pallet transport technique connects the warehouse with the picking stations, storage lines and distribution lines. Material flow control, visualization and order-picking are depicted by LVS Uniware.
